i have found on file an email dated january 9, 1999, from george villareal, containing some information about the family tree of impong bibiana cuevas madrid that was provided to him by his inay (tia juana) when he was in munoz in october... in this email george states as follows:

1. a full bloodied spanish soldier (a madrid) was bibiana's grandfather.
2. gil madrid (1/2 spanish) was the son of the soldier... he was married to catalina cuevas, also 1/2 spanish... it is not know if he had siblings...
3. gil and catalina's children were:
a. teodora - she was a spanish teacher, moved to bustos, bulacan. she married a de guzman... their children are maria and marcelino... marcelino's daughters are saling, benita, and rizalina...
b. roman - married ? children are: jose, benita, maria and miguela... maria married angel mendoza... their kids are marieta, angelita, and nenita.
c.diego - married anastacia; apparently did not have children. had a mistress. the relationship produced children including a son ruben. diego also had an aeta mistress who was his "pastol ng mga kalabaw." according to inay's account this woman was attractive... diego had sons and daughters with the woman... i think she later went to isabela.(comment: this diego appears to be quite an interesting fellow... his life story probably reads like a nove. anyway, this raises a point about how the family tree would handle sensitive situations like this, how privacy would be respected, and how respect for members feelings would be dealt with... i recall discussing with a friend now her maternal family tree preparation evoked some hard feelings about inclusion of branches that some conservative members felt do not belong....how the bm clan handles this with sensitivity is a challenge... perhaps you should discuss this matter with elders of the clan... personally, i think the tree should be inclusive.)
d. francisco - married catalina cabuslao. children wer igmedeo, maria, and sitang.
e. felix - married ? had sons and daughters. inay can only remember benito and francisco.
f. elias - married ? daughter: pilar who married a navarro ( not sure if navarro is 1st or second husband.) pilar's daughter with 1st husband is adoracion.. adoracion's kids are silvino, illuminado and assuncion.
g. bibiana -
h. alejandra - married __ mabalay...children are: fernando, antonio, arcadio & bartolome... bartolome had a daughter named josefina who married belo palomeque... their children are girlie, emily, daisy, rolando, totoy, and lani.( note:all alejandra's sons married and very likely had progenies, but not all are known to inay...)
